At Bright Max, we believe that outstanding customer service begins with a deep understanding of the products we deliver. To strengthen our team's technical knowledge and foster a culture of continuous learning, The Lighthouse Program, which started in 2025, has arrived as scheduled this year, an internal product training initiative designed to help employees build expertise through real manufacturing experience.
The 2026 first session, focused on Solar Lighting, has now been successfully completed, bringing together 25 participants from Sales, Purchasing, R&D and Quality Control for a two-day immersive learning experience.
What Participants Experienced
- Guided production workflow observation
- Product structure and component learning
- Manufacturing and quality management practices
- Hands-on product assembly activities
- Cross-functional knowledge sharing
- Technical discussions with product specialists
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Unlike traditional onboarding programs, the BM Lighthouse Program combines classroom learning with firsthand exposure to manufacturing operations.
Throughout the two-day program, participants explored the complete journey of a solar lighting product-from product design concepts and material selection to production processes, quality assurance, and final assembly.
By observing real production environments and engaging directly with experienced technical specialists and Bright Max's product sourcing professionals, participants gained practical insights into how quality products are developed, manufactured, and delivered.
The program also included hands-on activities, allowing attendees to better understand product structures, manufacturing considerations, and quality standards through practical experience rather than theory alone.

Building Stronger Product Knowledge
As solar lighting continues to grow as an important product category, understanding both product technology and manufacturing principles has become increasingly valuable for customer-facing teams.
During the training, participants explored key topics including:
- Solar lighting product architecture
- Core component functions and applications
- Product design and manufacturing considerations
- Quality control throughout the production process
- Product assembly and packaging best practices
- Industry standards and product reliability
Rather than focusing solely on specifications, the program emphasized understanding how design, manufacturing, and quality work together to create reliable lighting solutions.
Turning Product Knowledge into Better Customer Support
For Bright Max, product expertise is not limited to engineers.
Sales teams benefit from a deeper understanding of customer applications and product recommendations. Purchasing professionals gain stronger insight into manufacturing processes and supplier collaboration. Quality Control teams reinforce their understanding of inspection standards, while R&D members connect product development with real production practices.
This shared knowledge enables cross-functional collaboration and helps every team member communicate more effectively-both internally and with customers around the world.
As one of the technical instructors shared during the program:
"Understanding a product means understanding how it is designed, how it is manufactured, and how every detail contributes to its final quality. That knowledge is what transforms learning into true expertise."
Investing in People, Delivering Greater Value
The BM Lighthouse Program reflects Bright Max's long-term commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
By investing in product education and practical learning, we are building a team that understands not only what our products do, but also how they are made and why quality matters.
This knowledge allows us to provide faster communication, more practical recommendations, and stronger support for projects, helping customers make informed decisions with confidence.
Following the successful completion of the Solar Lighting session, additional training programs covering DIY Work Lights and Seasonal Lighting will continue throughout the year, supporting the ongoing growth of our teams and reinforcing Bright Max's commitment to product excellence.
